I'll just keep saying over and over that independent media can't really exist without support and word of mouth so if people want to see the stories they want flourish, invest in them

webcomic creators are often the most passionate and driven creators out there because the medium exists, by necessity, purely for the love of the craft. absolutely no one expects their projects to be self-sustaining financially. commitment is the last thing I think a creator lacks in webcomics
