It baffles me that these transactions continue to be called "donations" when there's no Trump campaign being funded, and no legal path forward for another Trump presidential campaign.

As a white woman working in lighting in film and TV I was *constantly* squinted at and disrespected by white men who clearly thought (and sometimes said) I was either a #metoo hire or screwing somebody important. It's a deeply toxic industry - art imitating life I guess?

Those items were *allegedly* in the backpack. There's no way to be sure about this because the search was not witnessed or recorded and the hick cops inexplicably waited until some big city cops showed up to finish processing their "evidence" bags.

I'd almost go as far as to say they almost hardly even care if they win as long as you get mad or drained. I think what they want might be to reinforce their own sense of commitment to / belonging in a social group that is mostly bound together by how much they hate everyone who is not in the group.

I spent a lot of time trying to understand the far right by debating them. Asking for evidence is the WORST strategy. Because they have it. Lots of it. All of it cherry picked, fabricated, misrepresented and / or misunderstood. Most of it on YouTube. Their goal is to exhaust you, not convince you.

Meh if any polemicist gets through their entire first paragraph without saying anything at all, I feel obliged to ignore not only the rest of their screed but their entire body of work and even their very existence.
