Is this what they meant by a Red Wave?

We could have had this man, y’all. But some of y’all don’t understand group projects.
As requested by a third grader in a letter to my office:

In the year of our Lord 2025, US Department of Education put out a press release quoting the cofounder of an org designated an “extremist group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Not quoting a DOE leader. A hateful bigot. I just…

This isn't about Zelenskyy, a patriot and hero. This is about an American administration penetrated and compromised by America's enemies.

Honestly I’m glad my grandfathers didn’t live to see this. They fought Nazis to make us the Leaders of the Free World. Their sacrifices made them the Greatest Generation.
This week, between the UN Vote and a While House spectacle, our President decided to switch sides.
What a disaster.

When my son was looking at high schools, we toured a private school with a nouveau riche rep. As we were driving away, I heard him in the backseat, “Look at my money. Would you like to roll around in my money?” 👀🤣

Watching Texas swagger into the SEC Championship game reminded me of that. No reason.

Arkansas Congressmen Hill, Crawford, Womack and Westerman all voted to cover up the report on sex trafficking by one of their colleagues. You should ask them why.
The House voted 204-198 to block release of the Gaetz ethics report. All Dems present voted to release, along with Republican Tom McClintock of CA. Every other Republican present voted to keep Gaetz's violations covered up.

Again, Gaetz is accused of sex trafficking and statutory rape.

Two things can be true at once.

We can acknowledge is it incredibly awful that a man was killed in the street.

We can also acknowledge that the company he ran was complicit in the deaths and financial ruin of thousands of people by bureaucracy. And those people are survived by someone too.
A man with a wife and two children was murdered in cold blood. He was a human being.

But you would hardly know that from watching the explosive reaction, including among folks who allegedly pride themselves on their humanity, tolerance, and decency.

If Chip has been drunk on the job and handsy with women, this is an odd way to confess such matters.
Chip Roy dismisses the Pete Hegseth rape allegation: "We've all had some indiscretions in our past and things like that."

I hope the wife & children of the insurance CEO who was killed have a people around them who love & support them. They have suffered a devastating loss & deserve comfort.
Bc stories I see about the loss & grief his company caused patients does not make the general public very empathetic right now.

I watched the first two episodes of Skeleton Crew.
I’m skeptical. So far, they just showed me the long form version of the trailer.

What’s fascinating is that Dinesh D’Souza, Alex Jones and their ilk CONTINUE TO LIE TO MAKE MONEY *until* their lies COST them money.
I’ve never really considered myself litigious. But this may just be the only way to make them stop. Sue them all. Make it painfully costly to lie.

And yet. He voted for Donald Trump who was convicted of 34 felonies, along with sexual assault and will presumably face no consequences for that, so … Senator, with respect. Sell crazy some place else. We’re all full up here.
Cornyn: It's a terrible example because without any accountability for people breaking the law.. there is no deterrent effect or no accountability that teaches our young people and others that, yes, you need to follow the law and, yes, there are consequences if you don't.

If you voted for a man who was convicted of 34 felonies, then I have ZERO interest in your take on the Hunter Biden pardon.

Whatever your opinion about the Hunter Biden pardon, if it gets more attention than the Kash Patel nomination, it is one more instance of a failure to distinguish between fundamental and trivial threats to the rule of law.
