Dems in Minnesota tried EVERYTHING to not have that provision in the bill. They presented so many compromises to republicans to try protect as many immigrants as possible. Republicans didn’t budge. Either Hortman cast her vote as she did or we would have had a government shutdown.

Why? Most of the stuff governors appoint is rightfully nonpartisan. It was a workforce development task force. I wouldn’t want political affiliations anywhere near that, it doesn’t need to be. He was also appointed by Dayton in 2016.

Fox 9 shared a shot of a car in the driveway of hortman’s house. Similar vehicle but didn’t have all that like metal work looking decal on the side. Just had reflective strips on the back and a light bar
