As a retired teacher I absolutely support this idea. My grandmother did this for me and I am so grateful to her eclectic library and liberal recommendations.

Funnily enough my conclusion to 2025 is simply ‘I’m alive!’. There’s a lot to be said for it. Wishing you a happy and fulfilling 2026.

I was wishing for this!

I left because teaching got boring and ineffective. All teaching the same thing, at the same time in the same way and assessing things to death with no benefit to the kids. No time to get to know your kids and respond to them in the moment or have simple pleasure in the subject.

He looks like a very happy boy!
