Lolz, Richard Marles ‘authority’ tone trying to sound even 1% convincing that AUKUS is great & it must be coz Trump is 100% on-board.
Lolz, what country getting upwards of $360B while never having to produce a thing wouldn’t be all-in.
More galling is it not being cancelled point-blank in 2022,

I despair. The failure of fundamental governance (bipartisan yay). But yet again NSW ALP govt really excelling themselves actively enabling corruption pathways, utter lack of care & understanding of making good cities = demonstrably zero respect for actual voters

Goodness, even Simon Benson at the Oz is calling the LNP’s climate nonsense:

“But herein lies the problem with the Liberals’ proposal to abandon net zero and a target on anything at all, by replacing it with almost nothing.”

Seems more like the whole point of the federal gov’t’s ‘review’ of the EPBC Act is precisely to enable similar dysfunctional NSW legislation. Yay to effective bi-partisan vested-interest donors crippling environmental protections.

I’ll be quite cross if the PM for one second agrees to paying a cent of ‘compensation’ to Nucoal for their self-inflicted loss. Btw, does Nucoal even pay tax here.

Jason, I’ve still got the stickers on my bins becoz the LNP are STILL wallowing in the same climate denial/fossil fuel quagmire since forever. (Not that the ALP are much better - they’re making equally appalling fossil fuel decisions while claiming ‘climate science’)

THIS is why the NSW govt must not weaken the NSW ADG in the Housing SEPP push under the guise of ‘housing crisis’. Not one window in a whole level of habitable rooms - Victoria. It matters!

Is that whole TAHE fiasco the reason for the virtual daily issues around maintenance (lack of) causing unacceptable delays, cancellations, failure of the PUBLIC transport rail system. Transport that is essential for functional cities

More good work ALP, brazen duplicity in approving the outrageous Woodside project while ‘claiming’ the huge risk & costs of NOT ACTING ON CLIMATE. Honestly, the vast number of young punters need to really punish both parties next election

Murray Watt approves fossil fuel extension until 2070?
Feel ill, sad & quite furious.
Can only hope the younger gens get angry & turn the tide on both parties AusVotes2027.

Sunday’s March for Humanity was biggest ever?
🤔 So 90K crowd estimate is at odds w/ 250k Reconciliation March in 2000 which somehow didn’t have ‘public safety’ issues at North Sydney?
Sunday was bigger, also peaceful, no incidents, no arrests -maybe thx to the ppl.
To MPs, the public voice is clear.

While we’re INXS adjacent #Hottest100 We went to check out a great mid-century place for sale once that we discovered was one of the Farris’s when we asked about a soundproof booth deep under the house - it was like this tiny murder room - hilarious. Fab house btw
