Retired white Democrat who's had an incredibly lucky life. We can build a better world. It's proving a little tricky right now.
Glad to see you fighting for this. I believe your system provides you with better remedies than ours. I know it's not easy, but too many Americans didn't care enough to stop Trump early. Now we're just wallowing in sycophants.

Thanks for saying that. When I retired from electrical engineering, I started reading up on cellular biology because I'm fascinated by it, and wanted to know about how DNA, mRNA, CRISPR, etc. actually work. It has been a struggle. And I had people tell me I was a brilliant engineer!

You are not crazy. The right wing media is wrong to do this. But I'm not surprised. I have friends from HS who are Trump-supporting Christians (one is a minister) and I'm expecting them to find a way around this. It is a cult.

Easy way to check: have the DHS agents drop their pants. No urine, no shots.

Lots of Canadians complaining. Are any moving to the US? Of course not. We'd love to have someone as good as you in our executive seat.

We're trying to keep Trump from destroying our country.

I'm a thankful resident of California, where we are essentially forming our own country.

Congratulations. Retiring was the best thing I've ever done, despite loving my work, a lot. I've been retired 6 years & via a little effort, I've been able to create a wonderful third stage of life.

Sorry to sound cynical, but I don't put stock in the oral arguments. Trumps judges on the SCOTUS will go through the hoops to give him more power.

Reform the court.

Happy I live in California, where I voted yes on 50 & put that ballot in the mail ASAP. We are going to take our country back.

Not an MTG fan, I marvel at how quickly they turned on here for raising moral issues that are valid. Even if she's doing it for purely political reasons.

Don't tease us. The GOP will cave like a house of cards.

Even if they ask "hard questions," is there any mechanism by which anyone in Congress can or will do about him? I'm amazed he's bothering to talk to them.

I'm fasting for a 10AM blood draw to get some routine tests. I'll be running from that lab to a coffee shop! Fun Senior Day times.

Thanks, Ann!

I would love me some chocolate pecan pie!
I'll settle for celebrating the radio.
Have a great day Ann.

You don't hear about it now, but when they were doing it, people took issue with their hair & musical style. It was worse with the Rolling Stones. They thought it was the end of civilization.😀

Mail Order Catalog Day!
Catalogs were a key part of my 1960's rural youth. When I moved to the big city in 1973, I worked in a nine-story Montgomery Ward building, most of which was a warehouse of items from their catalog. The Amazon of their day, they took phone orders!

Middle child day!

My wife & I are experts at blaming our status as middle children for all manner of ills. Despite both having had really good lives.

Wow - I knew nothing about Robert Ingersoll. What an amazing person. I shall be celebrating his day. Thanks Ann!
