This is a slight exaggeration. Reagan suspended some shipments. Thatcher did go further with an arms embargo. Labour haven't gone that far but they have cut sales of offensive weapons. They have also stood by the ICC's ruling on Netanyahu. Would Thatcher have done that? She sheltered Pinochet.

They're split about the ruling and the implementation. Germany has a very close relationship with Israel for obvious historical reasons.
