Exactly!!! Omg I’ve tried to explain this to folks but they never want to believe me.
IE Manx. You literally CAN’T breed a Manx to a Manx and get live kittens. So Manx can’t be a breed because it doesn’t breed true! You HAVE to outbreed to get healthy kittens!
