Someone has decided to eat "all fresco" this week. She's been hanging out on the front porch more and more, and has taken to declining going inside at her supper hour so Chad has taken to feeding her out here.

This year I've been working on starting more of my own plants from seed using recycled materials- e.g. 5 toilet paper rolls and half a 2L milk carton, reshaped and filled with seed sprouting medium. This will go into a bread bag until the seeds sprout. Can't wait to see how this works out.

Tonight, I'm struggling to process all I've seen and read today. I did read a book today that you might want to check out - just published and available as an ebook. I also upcycled the sleeve of an old sweater I just felted - made a dog coat for my wee one.
