Weak yen + America seeming a bit scary is my guess. The Tetris guys I know here were talking about how the cost of flying to CTWC has become prohibitive now with increased flight prices both in USD and JPY terms as well as accomodation.

What hurts is that I really don't want to feel this way. Unfortunately our lives are just so cut throat that there is no other viable option. I hope I don't continue to feel that way for the rest of my life but I think in this society we find ourselves in, there may not really be any going back.
