This is why I drive a 29 year old Toyota Tacoma. I’ve already signed it over to my daughter who expects to drive it another 500k. Simple, easy to work on, crank windows, 5 speed standard tranny, reliable as heck and no computers.

I purchased upgrade parts to my old iPod from PartsPlusPods in Australia. I added a new battery with 4X the battery life, 4 memory cards to make the iPod have 1GB of memory, RockBox software, and a Bluetooth module.
I use the iPod on my daily walks and in my car.

I used to commute home every weekend via a 3 hour drive. Audio books were my savior. I had a library card so I could check out audio books from either library. Sure made the commute more relaxing and enjoyable. I caught up on a lot of classics that way.
