陳思宏『二階のいい人』。映画、食べ物、顧客ノートだけじゃない。ペリカンの万年筆やピアノなどの小道具、嘔吐や血など体から流れ出るもの、おならや漂白剤などの匂い。様々なイメージやセリフがあちこちでくり返され、終盤のある決定的な瞬間へとだーっと流れ込むのに圧倒されまくり。見事すぎる。処女の姉とゲイの弟はそれぞれ、ジェンダーや家族についての葛藤を抱えている。そうした規範に囚われて身動き取れなくなっているのよ。そんな二人が過去に向き合い、自分の人生を歩み出す物語とも読める。そのときそばにあるのが、やはり映画と食べ物だというのに感動してしまう。

The Great Buddha at the top of Mount Bagua, the largest Buddha statue in Taiwan, is Changhua County’s primary cultural center. Edric Huang visited Changhua to watch the first stage adaptation of Ghost Town (Gui Di Fang), an award-winning novel by Taiwanese author @kevinchen9.bsky.social.
