Im torn on watching the Game Awards. On one hand, it's great to see all the new releases, trailers, and seeing the devs who worked very hard on these games receive recognition for that work.
On the other, TGA feels like a different animal than it did when it first started, and GK seems like an ass.

I'm actually very shocked that Dying Light: The Beast is even remotely playable on the SteamDeck.

Nah fam. I love this game, but im not paying $99 for a hoodie.
If this was @coheedandcambria.bsky.social I wouldn't hesitate to pay for a $69 hoodie at a concert venue, but these million dollar game companies? Nah dude. Not gonna happen.

I need some sort of background noise to sleep. Sometimes its twitch, sometimes its a movie or YouTube video...and sometimes its wild car chases (i dont know why).

GrubHub is the absolute worst delivery service. We had a driver take a job, drive around for an hour, and then just cancel the job.
An hour and 40 minutes later, GrubHub support wants to offer you a $5 credit. I refused. 30 minutes of back and forth, and finally got a refund.

I had recently become obsessed with Anno 117, and it has triggered the want to play Cities Skylines 2 again, so I bought the Bridges & Ports DLC, as well as the creator packs that just dropped yesterday.
I'm looking forward to diving back into that. I've really been digging city builders again.
