OK, not a great pic I admit, but it’s the Red Arrows flying over Peel’s crown green tonight.

Visited one of my old playgrounds today, West Kirby. Funnily enough, I’ve never walked around the Marine Lake before.

It’s just occurred to me who RFK Jr reminds me of when talking complete drivel about, well everything really.

If anyone in Cheltenham recognises this guy with , he’s just thrown some restaurant hoardings and kicked over a scooter by Montpelier Gardens on the Promenade.

There is understandably a lot of negativity on my timeline this evening. So here’s a photo of my wife and I apparently wearing crowns. Made by my very young niece.

Our bowling green is right on the Promenade in Peel and the sight after this evening match against Marown D was magical.
Open C team won 6-2 tonight whilst our Over 60s B team beat Douglas B this afternoon 7-1.

So went to the docs who told me I have another throat and ear infection. This really getting tedious.

When Chris de Burgh sang his iconic Borderlline tonight in Liverpool, the cheers rang out and he got a standing ovation. Those final words:

I can never see how men can find wisdom in a war.

The gig was emotional (last saw him 43 years ago) and incredible.

At Lancaster services and discovered Costa is open 24/7 here. This pleases me as we can’t check in for the ferry until 12.15.

In other news, very cold at Salford Community Stadium this evening but a comfortable win for Sale Sharks over Toulon 33-7.

Went for a walk around Telford Town Park (Shropshire). Came across the Jubilee Column crafted by local children.

I like Berlin. It’s been a good week so far. Especially like this little bar and restaurant near Kurfürstendamm.

Spent this morning at the Checkpoint Charlie museum which is huge. Didn’t get round it all. Pictures are of the checkpoint itself.

Day one in Berlin, our first visit to the city. Been a belter. Very cold but the DDR museum is excellent and the Tiergarten beautiful. The Memorial to Murdered Jews harrowing.
