I remember watching this, the protester was in his way so Chrétien gave him the ‘Shawinigan Handshake’ and the Right Honourable Jean Chrétien said later “I just moved him, and I wish I had not to do that. Some people were in my way. I had to go.” And with typical Canadian humour it’s become a thing

OK Musk likes Nazi salutes and seems to be a racist South African arse - but this is FECKIN’ NUTS. Even if the market cap goals are reached nobody should earn this much, let alone a chaos agent. The only redemption is if he feeds the hungry and provides healthcare with most of this insane wealth

A great article and kudos to you Charlie for voicing what the vast majority of Canadians are feeling! The article art work is SO appropriate too. A note to the author that King Charles III isn’t our “colonial master”, but rather our actual head of state (a constitutional monarchy system).

I’d agree with many of the replies so far Charlie, the Guardian often frames their opinions to the right. I actually think The Star’s Theo Moudakis had a good, yet funny, commentary with his editorial ‘toon
