I just heard a delusional President-elect Trump tell a judge that he won by a “massive landslide.” In the real world, 49.9% to 48.4%, failing even to secure a majority of the votes cast, is a winning by a whisker, not a landslide.

Starting to see more and more familiar folks popping up on BlueSky in the wake of Meta’s decision to curry favor with Trump by prioritizing misinformation over truth and making Facebook safe for hate speech. I’ll be on both platforms but unfollowing those who spread misinformation on Facebook.

Why is Bluesky allowing all the obviously fake accounts with profile photos of beautiful young women who follow thousands in an effort to get people to follow back? I’ve blocked countless ones who have tried to follow me. Does Bluesky have no quality control to ferret out scammers?

Liking the #bluesky vibe much better than Musk’s disinformation platform, but not liking the plethora of obviously fake accounts popping up here. Finding myself blocking a lot of them who try to follow me.

It doesn’t make sense to condemn @joemsnbc.bsky.social and Mika for meeting with Trump. He exists. And he won another term as President. Speaking with him doesn’t suddenly make them Trump sycophants. We’ll see, but I’m confident they’ll continue to speak up for truth and hold his feet to the fire.
