7. Captain America: Brave New World was pretty lame. I still want to see more Anthony Mackey Cap because I still hold onto the idea that he still has potential. Other than a few fight scenes, was boring. The first 20 minutes played out exactly like one of the fake movies from The Boys.

6. Brat is a great album that doesn't have much more to be said about it. It's got rave reviews across the board and it's not hard to see why. It didn't speak to me as much as a lot of the perfect scoring reviews might say, but it's still worth a few listens. "Apple" is my personal favorite.

5. Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay was incredible. I fell in love almost instantly and many songs from this album will be regulars in my rotation for the foreseeable future. The final song on the album, "The Ballad of Matt & Mica", is, in my opinion, a near-perfect song.

4. SMILE! :D by Porter Robinson was an album that took a couple songs for me to 'get', but as soon as I did I really got it. I see why this was such a critical darling. A personal stand-out to me was "Russian Roulette". It's an absolute gut-punch of a song.

3. Hundreds of Beavers. If I could boil this movie down into one word it would be "peak". This is truly one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I was belly laughing throughout and it was one of the most thoroughly entertaining movies I have seen in a long time.

2. The Brutalist. Wow. This one was a tough one. I was initially turned off by this movie. Then as I processed it I realized just how beautiful and profound it was. Watch this movie.

1. Megalopolis was one of the craziest movies I've ever seen. Much of the dialogue reminded me of some of the all-time great so-bad-theyre-good movies. Why did it look like this? Why did any of you talk like that? Why did we hear Jon Voight tell someone to look at his boner? Only Francis knows.
