It’s so sad that whenever one of Trump’s staff/supporters mention him they always have to say what a great president he is and how nobody has ever done as well as he has. Bloody hell, it’s like when you try to encourage your 5 year old kid to give them some confidence and belief. Except he’s 79. Sad

It’s amazing how many MAGAs thank God for saving Trump from that “assassination”attempt. They believe God did it so Trump could save America. As for the poor guy who was actually killed that day - well obviously God didn’t fancy saving an innocent person so he took the bullet. Unbelievable cult.

Serious question, but can anybody explain to me what a Patriot is please? Can anyone be one or is it just restricted to right wingers who have to tell you they are and put up the relevant national flag. Is it possible to be a patriot without announcing it and, you know, just get on with life?

Pam Bondi says they’re going to dismantle Antifa. Is there any hard evidence that this group - if it exists - threatens to destroy the US way of life? Or is it just a bogeyman MAGA will conveniently invoke against anyone they don’t like or who disagrees and jail them or worse. Absolutely appalling

I’m getting a bit fed up with these golf commentators and their love of American expressions. It’s not a ‘property’ it’s a bloody golf course. And ‘he made a bunch of puts..’, or ‘he hit it into a bunch of trees’. We use enough Americanisms in golf as it is. What would Peter Alliss make of it all??🤔

I understand and entirely sympathise with those who support the assisted dying bill. But history shows that whatever legal safeguards are put in place diminish over time, however well meaning the intent; but I accept it’s a completely heartbreaking situation if you or a loved one is involved. So sad

I’ve always felt that to have any credibility in a discussion you need to consider the opposing view as well as your own. Sometimes, reasonable people have the grace to change their minds. But MAGAs are so cultish that they follow Trump blindly, whatever he says, however outrageous, without question

Just watched the Attenborough doc ‘Ocean’. Absolutely breathtaking, but so worrying.The amount of damage Mankind has done to the oceans is scandalous, and it’s done without a second thought. Thank God there are signs of regeneration where oceans are left alone so let’s hope our species take the hint
