And you're stuck buying their hardware if you want to keep the library you've invested in there. I just don't see Nintendo or Playstation hardware/ecosystems having a long tail at this point. Especially if Valve's devices are good and you can forever untether your library from any specific device.

Nintendo probably makes the vast majority of their money off of the cut they take on every game sold on their eStore, but I don't know why anyone thinking logically would lock themselves into buying games there when they're so much more expensive.

Bahaha! I just heard Logan say "clarifying injury". The more I think about that, if you find yourself in a situation where you're basing your path forward on the health of AD then maybe your organization sucks. You need to be VERY clear that he's a nice-to-have but not required part of the plan. 😆

Man! AD out again?? I mean, shocker, but at this point he's a player I would ONLY trade for right before the trade-deadline if he's healthy and my team is actively making a run. Unbelievable anyone would want him otherwise. Geebus.

Feels like maybe you let Trae pretty much take a rehab year with the rest of this season and then have a healthy version to start next year, try to get his trade-value up and move him before the trade deadline.

With the recent waiving of expensive players part of me wonders if there's a business write-off maybe at-play here. Is there a benefit to getting a MORE expensive contract and waiving it? Maybe it's the loophole finder in me, but this just seems plain illogical for a rational GM to make this trade.

Exactly. Is the stadium real-estate that valuable? I mean more McDonald's ads certainly would class-up the joint but I'd think a compromise could be worked out.

I think being resistant to hanging any banner reeks of elitism. So if the storied franchises don't do it then anyone else who might be proud of their accomplishment gets mocked? Do you guys not let the younger kids put art on your refrigerators too?

Not us Moto G Power schlubs who just ordered their new one! Big battery, decent screen, passable camera, meh processor, tons of battery life. It's kind of shocking that there's a phone that I actually like because it's made just for the fucks I give about them: not constantly about to die!!
