the "focussing on constituents needs" makes me laugh! They are definitely not focussing on the needs of those who voted for them !

I do not see the Labour party becoming "blue" as a positive step! Looking for someone else to vote for !

What is the link between a dystopian USA, evangelicals and the EU, as I don't see what Brexit has to do with this story !
January 30, 2026 at 5:09 PM
It has certainly taken time to manufacture this "just released" video

It is easy to generalise about the Labour party as a whole, but there are big differences between the Westminster party and the grass roots, as we have been seeing since Starmer took power !
January 29, 2026 at 1:32 PM
It is obvious that Starmer is putting his own career ahead of the good of the Labour Party and the UK, otherwise he would have accepted Burnham as a potential MP and faced a leadership challenge strong in the belief that he (Starmer) was the better leader.
January 26, 2026 at 1:36 PM
While I agree with Starmer's objectives, I do not believe that he and his current advisors are the people to do it!

Any change has to take into account that Universities are private profit-making concerns. Your remarks do not say how the current system works for the shareholders.
January 13, 2026 at 5:52 PM
Why do you need a right wing think tank ? The name of the organisation has nothing to do with its objectives! The only tax payers they might represent are the billionaires.
December 7, 2025 at 9:53 AM
Starmer should not be surprised by the lack of cabinet unity when the policies he is pushing are divisive !
November 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM
I often wonder why the government needs these external advisors from the corporate world. Don't they trust or listen to the civil service ?
November 16, 2025 at 8:26 PM
She should resign as a councillor, her membership (or not) of the Conservative Party is irrelevant in the context of her remarks !

IMHO Keir is a lawyer, and not a politician. He is used to dealing with individual cases and has no experience with strategies, consultations, long term objectives and plans. This seems to be seriously affecting the Labour government , and his choice of advisors is making matters worse.

I assume that they didn't even bother with an impact assessment !

Israel obviously will not countenance a two state solution. Within a single state the Palestinians are also citizens, so what does Israel propose in order to help and support them?
October 14, 2025 at 9:20 AM
Reform is unable to govern judging by the performances of the Reform-led councils. I suspect that if they ever got a majority in a General Election they would petition King Trump to become a State of the USA.
October 14, 2025 at 9:09 AM
Tax payers alliance is a right wing think tank that do nothing to represent taxpayers. What's in a name ?
October 2, 2025 at 3:46 PM
Who is hoping to make money from those stupid red hats ?
September 28, 2025 at 11:24 AM
To do what he says, Farage will have to create his own gestapo (otherwise known as ICE), although I am sure that Tommy Robinson can be relied on for providing many willing volunteers.
September 28, 2025 at 11:17 AM
Plenty of wriggle room depending on her definition of "working people" !
September 28, 2025 at 11:13 AM
So stopping on a double yellow line is now considered to be "malicious communication" ?
September 17, 2025 at 12:36 PM
He is always out of touch with the majority of UK voters, but definitely right on target for his paymasters!
September 12, 2025 at 9:41 AM
Obviously they have no significance for her !
September 10, 2025 at 11:18 AM
I once thought that she was an intelligent lady with integrity. Days long gone !
Perhaps that was when Labour were in opposition.
September 2, 2025 at 7:35 PM
I am being told that I should have referred to the latter group as sycophants!
