Sure. But better help is making access to quality therapy harder. Not only are their ads predatory and deceptive data collection, they exploit therapists.
It hurts psych as a whole and erodes trust in therapy. I advocate for more access to therapy and healthcare but it has to be done well.

Sure. But better help is making access to quality therapy harder. Not only are their ads predatory and deceptive data collection, they exploit therapists.

I can read testimonies and studies done into better help. Better access to therapy is "better" and better help hurts us getting to that, it doesn't help.
There are probably good therapists up there, don't be so dramatic and put words in my mouth now. But, that's also "yOuR oPiNiOn."

I can read testimonies and studies done into better help. Better access to therapy is "better" and better help hurts us getting to that, it doesn't help.

It's a good start to what? Better therapy they don't have access too? And no, bad therapists are not a good start.

Also a therapist and there have been many questions of the quality of service. I agree it may increase accessibility. But it doesn't have the same measures for vetting therapists that actual clinics do.

I'd argue that the therapy apps probably lead to more violence. Search up the controversies of Better Help.
