yeah one of the class-agnostic demon hunter sets was showing as already known, i clicked it and it learned it anyway, i think it may be a tooltip bug or something

addon isn't even exclusive to remix technically but i'm labelling it as Remix Artifact Tracker solely for the acronym it makes

keep in mind it's still very early - there are a few features that i just couldn't test that needed remix. Some things not yet implemented:
- Tab accessible via artifact ui (it's only slash cmd)
- Hidden Artifact progress tracking (this was announced in a bluepost so idk if it's available ingame)

yeah i always refused to use it before because it costing 3 vigor vs. just using skyward ascent was much better, i just used lightning rush instead for all the rare times i get to use it (usually going through the coreway in dornogal

Skyriding in Midnight is actually be pretty decent. Obviously no more vigor - Surge Forward and Skyward Ascent share 6 charges, recharge feels nearly identical to before. Your first Lift Off when jumping doesn't consume a charge. Whirling Surge is completely free as well, now just a 30 sec CD

Upgrading gear to get transmog (hero -> myth) will once again grant the appearance at *max* upgrade value (6/6 instead of the previous 4/6). Personally I find this completely acceptable

We’ve seen a great deal of feedback from players about how they hope to continue upgrading the look of class set items, which has been possible since patch 10.1 by upgrading items to the point that their required crest type changed. In Midnight, there will only be one crest type per item track, and we agree that this is functionality worth keeping in the game, so we’re changing how it works.

In Midnight, we’re maintaining that functionality with a clearer trigger: reach the highest level of power within a tier, and you unlock the next tier’s appearance.

Class set and raid weapon appearances will now change after the item has been fully upgraded to 6/6 on its upgrade track.

wild pets basically can't battle and are effectively vanity pets atm yeah. you just walk up and capture them on right click. vendor/achievement pets can battle, there's some achievements for doing tamers of EK/Kalimdor, i forget if there's Midnight trainers precisely but i don't.. think there is?

The Pet Battle system is being iterated on in Midnight, and changes will continue to come with future Alpha builds.

In the first builds of the Midnight Alpha, we have several goals:

For players who love collecting pets, there should be significant numbers of pets to collect.
For players who love to do pet battle combat, that will be available.
As time has passed, we’ve seen fewer and fewer players enjoying pet battle combat, so this is an area we want to iterate on.
There will be some new pets in Midnight that are capable of battling.
All parts of the pet battle system that were implemented in previous expansions should continue to operate as they have before.

We’re experimenting with some alternate methods to obtain pets in Midnight, and we expect to iterate on that, based on your feedback. Please let us know whether you’re an experienced pet battler or engaging with the system for the first time when you leave feedback.

Look in this thread and in the Midnight Alpha Development Notes for adjustments and bugfixes made throughout the testing period.

For the moment yes - a wide amount of it is locked down. It's intentional though to basically break everything and then iterative pull back to see what should still be functional. The intent is definitely *not* to impact accessibility (though that is the result atm)

I'll probably write on why I think some *personal* buff tracking should still be allowed in some form, I think it's fine not to track others' buffs but I do think regardless of how many changes blizz puts in players will want addons to cosmetically show a buff without using the buff bar / CD manager
