I still think his previous works (Dinotopia which I have also collected, & his other instructional works) are insanely valuable on their merits. But Gurney is a good example of the fact we need to stop holding these older established artists on a pedestal. They have no loss in this game, & know it

That response was from yesterday btw. & he has multiple blogs and quotes solidifying his stance that he is pro-people using it.
We need to reject this flip floppy stance and be solid in our support against this unethical tech. & this is coming from someone who has loved his work since childhood.

From all the blogs I have read by him on the topic. He often likes to play the fence sitter indeed. And it's not a position I can respect when we are in this stage of damage to our community, that this shitty tech has done.

Oh he knows. This is not new for him. He's had plenty of time and discussions to realise how bad this tech is. He chose to support it over his peers.
