My PT's office has this model of the vestibular system that looks like a minimalist Bosch sculpture.
A 3d printed model of the human inner ear I. white; for some inexplicable reason there's a tiny little bald head attached to the bit that looks like a snail. Like I get that it's an inner ear but the whole thing remains insane.

Easily the single best interactive exhibit I have ever seen - my husband nearly threw up. No notes.

In 1884 Carrie Carson sewed two taxidermied chipmunks into a crazy quilt she then donated to raise money for a hospital. The nun who won it declined to keep it (can't relate). Carrie ultimately gave it to her brother as a wedding gift, and now it's at the Missouri Historical Museum in St. Louis.

These two paintings are considered to be the most avant garde among Caillebotte's works; they look like photos taken from a balcony. Chicago Art Institute's Caillebotte exhibit; well worth a visit.

Kudos to whoever put this sculpture in Palmer Park!
