1. ROSALÍA

Wow. This is art at its highest form. I knew ROSALÍA was talented but I never expected the extremes she reaches on this album. LUX isn't meant to be listened to, it's meant to be felt.
Easily one of the most important albums of the this century

2. Rose Gray - "Louder, Please"

A perfect pop album, it reminds me of messy early 20s drunken nights out. She manages to have absolute banger choruses and really intimate moments between the highs. Honorable mention to this absolutely iconic album cover, it perfectly captures this sound

3. Ethel Cain - "Willoughby Tucker [...]"

This album is haunting, and beautiful, l mean it's Ethel Cain after all. I think people were expecting a PD pt. 2 and she didn't deliver that. She evolved, and thank god she did because this is one of the most touching albums I have ever heard

4. Rochelle Jordan - "Through The Wall"

This album is so fun and catchy. Bite the Bait might be one of the best songs to come out this year; not to mention the absolute beauty that is Rochelle Jordan. In such a shitty year this moment to dance and have fun was so, so needed

5. Ethel Cain - "Perverts"

I think Ethel Cain is a true artist, this album demands patience. There's few lyrical tracks, but when we do get those moments its absolutely heart wrenching because of the wait. I think this is the perfect reaction to her mainstream success

6. Sudan Archive - "THE BPM"

THE BPM does not exist in a genre, it floats between so many different sounds and textures effortlessly. I'm shocked this isn't more talked about. I hope this album gets the recognition it deserves, she really has something to say with her music

7. Skrillex - "F*CK U SKRILLEX [...]"

I hate most EDM, but Skrillex returning to his roots just scratches a nostalgic itch for me. This album is satirical, and you never get more than a minute before the sound completely changes. Its truly a victory lap for Skrillex

8. Cortisa Star - "E.M.O."

Cortisa's music sounds like 100 gecs took up rapping. It's overstimulating and absurd in the best way. Her music is so queer coded in a way that only a trans artist could do. I think most people would hate this album, but you can't deny this is a genre of its own
December 26, 2025 at 4:23 PM
9. FKA Twigs - "EUSEXUA / AFTERGLOW"

FKA Twigs has such a talent making electro-pop that walks the line of being insanely unique while still being radio playable.
Not to mention, the absolute banger choruses that are on these albums. Striptease (ft.
Eartheater) is on repeat in this gay household
December 26, 2025 at 4:19 PM
10. Kelela - "In The Blue Light"

I'm late to the Kelela train, I only started listening to her last year. I love how intimate this album is, it feel like a sultry walk through her discography. Her range as an artist is absolutely insane, and she is so insanely slept on
