Chinese yuri manhua has a firm grip on me... I've read more recently than I'd like to admit. I'm just hoping Bilibili doesn't cancel another beautifully illustrated queer series that I'm reading, or I might just crash out.

The eventually has come, just uploaded chapter 10 of Hana Monogatari. I'm looking forward to volume 3, and most of the chapters are around 24 pages, so it should be less work. The only outlier is the last chapter of the volume, which is 60 pages.

I've been trying to work on my manga translations, but my actual work has been getting in my way. I'm alive, though, so it will eventually get done, I promise 😔

Staying a night in Missoula, home of internet sensation Hank Green. I need this hotel after enduring a night of ill-prepared below freezing camping in Grand Teton National Park. But I can't deny the beauty of that park and greater Wyoming.

Started reading Ascendence of a Bookworm, I can't say it's my favorite read. Certainly tolerable, but I find the main character to be so infuriatingly naive. I simply can't picture the core plot that she is a reincarnated 20 year old.

Finished volume 13 of The Apothecary Diaries. Sad to see that I'll have to wait till the 30th for the next volume, and however long after that for the following 2. Took me about 4 days starting from volume 3 at a pace of around 5 hours per volume... Now, unfortunately, I must study for finals...

Did some basic cleaning of the Chapter 10 pages, seems there will be quite a bit of redrawing in this time as well. I might get it out by the end of the weekend, but I'm somewhat doubtful. Between finals, moving, and my current addiction to the Apothecary Diaries Light Novel, we will see...

Translated another chapter of Hanamonogatari, I really love this series. I feel like there is not enough non-highschool lesbian romance manga. Feel free to read it on MangaDex,

"A Joyful Life" is a story ironically without much joy. A good read if you want a manhwa that doesn't sugar coat the trauma characters went through and the anger of not being accepted.

I find it ironic that "Love My Life" seemingly doesn't have an English physical copy when the character in the story is a foreign book translator. A decent read if you want a short manga that tackles the insecurity of identity when you fall between labels.

I read "Spirit Fingers" today, and it has quickly wedged itself into my heart. This is my new favorite manhwa hands down. Its surrealist and fantastical elements tied with its beautiful art style make it a memorable read before factoring in its hard-hitting and grounded plot points.

I quite enjoyed a "Diary of a Female Lead: Shujinkou Nikki." It's a fairly drama free high-romance, no love triangles or anything. I have always preferred when stories add a secondary couple when they want to prolong the runtime of the story. As opposed to unnecessary drama, such as love triangles.

Finished "Monthly in the Garden with My Landlord", it's a short wholesome Yuri without much in the way of drama. So, if you need a palate cleanser after reading an intense drama ridden romance, I think it could be a good candidate.

Read "I Had That Same Dream Again" last night, which depicts a young girl struggling with what it means to be happy. It was certainly a good read, I'd almost want to recommend it to a younger reader as I think the theme is really good, but there are depictions of self-harm and mentions of sex work.
