Happy to report that this is actually just a bug I have somehow discovered in Microsoft Word, so my document isn't haunted and my PC does not have bad RAM. But it was cool when I thought my document was haunted

The long quest set I mentioned earlier is pretty nice, and your reward for finishing all of the sub-quests (in any order) is that at the end all the characters involved get together to hang out and have dinner after you help solve their problems

Was wondering how bad this could be and it's pretty bad. Not just a dedicated popup when you visit the chrome download page (????) but a bunch of massive advertisements if you search for google chrome

TIL that Where Winds Meet lets you do the 10-man co-op raids with bots instead of having to do them with other players, and you can do a mixed human+bot party if you want. The bots know how to do all the mechanics mostly correctly, so it's a relaxing way to get the rewards and learn the fight.

Funny to see that Punishing Gray Raven's narrative team gritted their teeth and just excised 8 miserable chapters from the main plot. Goes straight from Chapter 1 to Chapter 9 now, which is one way to deal with the "every mobage's early story sucks" curse

Once you reach the big city there's a quest chain with something like 30 individual steps and dedicated UI to help you track all of them since you can do them independently

I don't think they ever had to do this on the CN server, within days of launch on NA they had to shut them off. This is why we can't have nice things. (You can probably imagine what kind of custom emotes players were uploading)

One of the things this game gets right in combat accessibility is that there's an optional assist function that helps you learn the parry/dodge timing for attacks, but you can gradually crank down how aggressive it is, until turning it off entirely. It consumes a meter so it's still fair

You can find locations where players gather to do 'group cultivation' for some sort of daily reward and I really appreciate that some of the cultivation techniques involve holding very difficult poses
