yah fun film, hats off to the actress

Even though it has good directing, it felt like it could've been told in 20 minutes but stretched to an hour and a half. Also, felt the mental patients were exploited and portrayed in a grotesque way.

Unfortunately, the weak pacing is the least of its worries, there's weak writing and the horror is pretty lame as it also doesn't seem to begin until the last 10 minutes. 3/10

Good directing with use of handheld camera with lots of camcorder point of view which was a big trend at the time.

but it does feel that there are many storylines and subplots that you can get lost in the story and slightly slow pacing especially towards the end.

Then you've got the main character, making bad decisions, unlikeable and hard to relate to. Again, it might not be a bad film but it can be very annoying for a comedy. 4/10

music sequences exploring the history of the blues and a touch of Irish folk songs. Still, the introduction set up took longer than needed, aspect ratio changes felt more like flexing than it was necessary and the mid credit ending felt a bit like a forced twist. 8/10
