Transportation is what connects us to each other.

At a time of isolation and disconnection, state legislators must vow to roll up our sleeves and revisit this critical conversation about how Oregon can build a safer, healthier, cleaner transportation that literally brings all of us together. #orleg

With $10 million, we could prevent homelessness for 2,000 families who are about to be evicted - that would be 8,000 kids and parents who never lose their housing and don’t need shelters and re-housing.

Instead, we're funding an illegal military occupation. #orpol

Trump's illegal military occupation will cost $10 million.

What could Oregon do with that money instead to actually help our communities? #orpol #orleg #oregon #pdx #portland

It was shocking to learn this weekend that the President of the United States has unilaterally ordered the deployment of federal troops in Portland.

Let me be clear - nobody in Portland asked for this.

They are unwelcome, unneeded, and counterproductive to our efforts. #orleg

Enjoying a beautiful fall day in Portland, Oregon. We won't fall for Trump’s efforts to silence opposition and turn the city we love into a place where people feel afraid to leave our homes. We'll continue to take care of each other and stay strong in our defense of our communities and our rights.

Thank you so much to Third Act Oregon and all the other organizations who helped organize Portland's Sun Day of Action. It was an honor to speak about the importance of intersectional climate advocacy and supporting renewable energy while protecting our vulnerable communities locally and nationally.

Do you wish you lived in a city where you could simply buy some street food, like a delicious hot dog, while boppin around the city? Then you're going to want to submit written testimony or sign up to speak in favor at the Arts & Economy Committee next Tuesday.

This week, I voted to oppose the -18 Amendment to HB 3991 in the Joint Special Session Committee on Transportation Funding. I vow as a legislator to continue to fight for long term stable funding for this critical social service that serves the 1 in 4 Oregonians who can't or don't drive. #orleg

The Trump administration is eliminating billions of dollars in funding to the states for health care, education and social services.

Now is the time for Oregon to protect our transportation system and keep reserves on hand for the upcoming years. #orpol
khanhphamforor.bsky.social
Republicans are proposing we use emergency reserve money to cover our transportation shortfall - this is nuts!

There could not be a worse time to use up our cautiously guarded emergency funding. We need those dollars for wildfire response and other critical services in the uncertain times ahead.

As we get ready for the special session this week, I wanted to talk a bit about why I’m voting yes.

Oregon needs to be clear-eyed about the challenges ahead – not self-administering our own version of DOGE and weakening our ability to invest in and protect our communities.

Oregon has to be wiling to lead with common sense solutions like static connection to the federal tax code and revenue reform rooted in tax fairness that puts the wellbeing of working families front and center. #orleg #orpol

First day back to school! Such a joy to see so many wonderful people who make our community a welcoming and vibrant place! Teachers, school social workers, counselors, the Latina moms group, Lent pedestrian bridge super volunteer, and ODOT trash pick up along the 205 path. I love our community!

I really appreciate this perspective from fellow elected officials around the country. With so much discussion about "abundance" these days, I want to make sure here in Oregon our efforts to expand housing production and build infrastructure benefit everyone. #orpol

This is a desperate, despot dictator move. An attempt to intimidate and silence this great American Black-led city, and an attack on dissent itself, as DC is the center of protest, of people exercising our freedoms to speak against this regime.

Speak out!

I'm so grateful for the Portland Clean Energy Fund. These air conditioners will literally save lives during this and future heat waves, which are only going to be more common in the years ahead. We must continue to protect and invest in our front line communities.
