I voted HELL NO on a CR deal that betrays millions of people who rallied, organized, and voted to save health care for 20 million Americans. Giving into a bully does nothing to stop him. I’ll keep fighting against Trump’s authoritarianism and attempts to gut community resources.

Great news! Oregon families can now get SNAP benefits at least for the month of November. We still urgently need Congressional Republicans to negotiate to end the shutdown, lower skyrocketing healthcare premiums, and make sure families can get the food and housing assistance they need!
Big thanks to @GovTinaKotek and @ORHumanServices who worked hard to be ready to access the November funds for Oregonians as soon as they became available after the federal court ruling. I urge Congressional Rs to negotiate with Dems to lower healthcare premiums & food costs.

We will urge the *full* Ninth Circuit to vacate today’s decision by a three-judge panel, before illegal Guard deployments can occur. A Ninth Circuit judge has already called for a vote on whether the case should be heard by the full court. Our team will file a brief encouraging the court to do so.

Oriana Korol, a clarinetist with the Unpresidented Brass Band, was arrested after a man and federal agents barreled into band members who were standing across the street from the ICE office and playing the theme from “Ghostbusters.”
