Hey, I'm Khaos!
I mostly work in traditional media, painting wildlife with a twist of dark fantasy and bringing weird creatures to life. If you're into odd beasts and nature with a sinister grin, you're in the right place.
Paintings of a snow leopard and a wolf jumping through a colorful universe of stars. Painting of two snails but instead of a shell they carry a feline skull and a horse skull. Painting of a white horse with the skull face, shattered in pieces in front of a green watercolor blotch background. Painting of a Tiger in front of the sun-dial.

Finally enough rain so they currently pop up everywhere.

I often find myself longing for those days when life moved at a gentler, more peaceful pace.

Yes, for more than a decade now. And while I do appreciate our conversations and there are problems he can support me with, it doesn’t help my mood, since my depression stems from things in my body that aren’t working right (problems with my mast cells and autoimmune stuff).

That really means a lot to me. Your words give me strength, especially on the days when it’s hard to stay strong. I’m so glad my pictures bring you joy.

I’m crossing my fingers for you too, that you find those little sparks of light to hold onto. Some days it feels like surviving moment to moment is all we can do.

I’m really sorry to hear it got declined. It’s good that you didn’t let it stop you and already reached out for support.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I feel that so much… the darker seasons can really weigh heavy, even if autumn has its beauty.

Thank you for your kind words and wishes. I hope you, too, find warmth, light and little moments of comfort to carry you through the dark days.

Right now it takes all my willpower just to keep myself from breaking. Without it, I’d destroy myself entirely.

Waking up in full body pain was a harsh reminder that it’s already very late to search for a place to spend the cold season.

But honestly, I gave myself up a few weeks ago when the depression became too heavy. Ditched important appointments, stopped planning, stopped caring...

Shed is also fixed, now I can finally install the solar panels up there.

Same... This situation sucks so much.

Thanks for sharing this with me. It takes so much strength to step away from something that hurts, especially family. Really glad you found warmth & acceptance, that must mean a lot. I can imagine how the holidays still bring up mixed feelings, but it’s good to hear it gets easier each year.

You’re right, sometimes creating and sharing moments with friends can help light a little spark again. I’m trying to hold on to that thought and not give up, even when it feels heavy and I have not felt any happiness since many years.

Thank you so much for your kind wishes, that truly means a lot. I’m wishing you just the same: plenty of joy in the little things and as many bright moments as possible along the way.

Thank you so much, that really means a lot to me. Sending a big virtual hug back your way! I often just share what I see and feel, and knowing that it brings even a little light and joy to someone else makes it all worth it. I’m truly grateful you took the time to say this.

Und so winzig, wie ein kleines Würmchen.

So, the oven is finally fixed.

With my fear of heights, getting up on the roof is anything but enjoyable.

I’m craving candy corn, not even because I love the taste, but because it’s such a nostalgic reminder of my childhood in the USA. Same goes for Big Red and Winterfresh gum.

It’s officially spooky season!

For now, I’ve only got some autumn-inspired art to share with you and some apple pie if you live close enough to reach my home before I managed to eat it on my own.
