Book 155: oh to be nonbinary and fused with a forest god, body shifting and changing into something monstrous or otherworldly, and also it's Christmas.

Book 154: so much more skiing and skiing-related trauma than Hanukkah

Book 153: does Christmas lend itself to second chance romance? Maybe!

Book 152: the level to which this is Twisters inspired, but with student-professor complications, is kinda staggering. Too repetitive to me, and the audiobook taught me that I am not at all into the "duet" style of recording. The more you know!

Book 151: the book is perfect, are you kidding me? The book is perfect

Book 149: wish I liked my kickoff to seasonal reading more, but it's fine.

Book 148: it couldn't help but end on another fuckin' lecture. I've broken both my wrists from making the jerk off motion

Book 146: I think I hate this series
December 2, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Book 145: I think somehow this is the worst stuff that has happened? The Net collapse stuff is messed up! The solution seems to come on kind of quickly, but after the protracted struggle, it's kind of a relief.

Book 144: horn-y com-ics! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Lovely variety in here, good anthology

Book 143: gonna call this one a Turtle Tragedy, because it is. I don't reread these books, so I had forgotten about this lead and how her story ends. Which means this book is a tragedy! Which is fine, it's one of the modes of this series, but my reading lifestyle dampens their effect.

Book 142: delightful! Really hoping the author returns to this series, because watching Pie fall will be delicious.

Book 141: don't know if I'd call every story in here horror, but I do think the whole thing was fine to good! Some great audiobook performances too!

Book 139: reading my book club's next pick early (because new books from libraries are available when they're available) and HOO BOY. I wouldn't have been mad if I bought it! As a strong believer that sometimes the books we cover should be Nasty, I am pleased.

Book 138: starting the last leg of my Moore journey, and, uh, the homophobia of the lead and her best friend can stop any time?? The writing is really damaging how much I can get into the sort of story I'd normally be down for.

Book 137: I am saying this in as a non-damning way as possible - this book was at its best while I had a migraine. Towards the beginning, I mean!
November 14, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Book 136: okay, so, the plot hook of getting married basically doesn't matter? It doesn't carry any emotional weight. Unless any of these girls come back, it won't. Plus, this has the stupidest guy fight so far. Weird series!
