Knowing the team at the UK Space Agency I am confident they will continue to support the industry, so I welcome the strategic intent behind this decision. The key will be in the execution. I'll be reserving my full assessment for after the transition is complete and the results become clear.

➡️ The UK's space industry is a dynamic ecosystem of innovative SMEs and global leaders. Its success is driven by their ingenuity and is distinct from the administrative structure of the government agency that supports it.

➡️ The UK Space Agency is not being abolished. Its brand, identity, and core functions will continue within the new departmental structure. Reports suggesting otherwise are inaccurate.

➡️ The goal is to reduce bureaucracy, not add to it.
