If you did go SSG, there’s nothing stopping you from also learning a JS framework. You could post content while you hammer on the custom site and switch it over when it’s ready

IMO it depends on your goal. Is your goal to get a blog up and running ASAP with very little friction? SSG. Is your goal to dive deeper into webdev and the blog is just the means to that end? React, svelte, etc

I tend to do the same, but don’t fully understand why. What’s your reasoning?

What makes you say “not yet”? I’ve done limited research so far and have generally heard “some people have issues” but not much in the way of specifics. My current plan is to just spin it up YOLO-style

How so? I've thought about moving to YT Music, but I'd have to move many many songs and playlists so I only want to do so if it's worth it
