Unrelated but THANK YOU for ranting about Kindle ads on your One More Thing. Everyone I know w/ a Kindle seems weirdly ok with it and I feel like I'm going crazy.

That said I switched to a Kobo e-reader which is a lovely ad-free experience.

Great write-up and great scene choice with Life During Wartime. Those wide shots of the band jogging in place in unison give me so much life. The cardio and/or cocaine regiment on that tour must have been so intense

Got my ticket for IMAX tonight. I haven't been this excited for a movie since...well I guess Barbenheimer was only a few months ago, but I'm still excited as hell.

Correct take, NYC pizza snobbery is exhausting. But I think the one advantage there is quantity. Most neighborhood will have several good spots, whereas in other cities you might have to drive across town.
