I try to remain the idealist I became as a young man. When I supported George McGovern in 1972 presidential election and he lost in a huge landslide, only winning Massachusetts, I new I was in for a long fight. Today it's so different. Reality sucks.

When federal officials act unlawfully, state authorities have both the power & responsibility to intervene. Prosecutors must open criminal investigations into the warrantless raids, assaults, and detentions that threaten the safety of our communities and constitutional rights.
IF THEY TELL YOU... "This is a federal issue" Respectfully, when federal agents violate state criminal law, Massachusetts has both the authority and responsibility to investigate. Other states have already begun investigations into ICE officers for similar conduct. "The AG can't comment" I understand. I'm not asking for a public statement. I'm asking that the Attorney General exercise her authority to investigate criminal conduct occurring in Massachusetts. "We'll pass along your comment" Thank you. Please note that I'm specifically urging the Attorney General to open a formal criminal investigation into these incidents.
