Not sure what I was expecting when I picked this up, but it was wry and prickly and cool. The main character reminded me of murderbot, only not a bot… or a murderer, in a contemporary ad agency. I recommend it! @beatrizserrano.bsky.social

This is very niche, but I just made the most amazing discovery about a favorite book from childhood!
I won my copy of THE GRAND ESCAPE by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor in a third grade raffle and must have read it a dozen times. My stepson loves it too—so much that he wants to buy a copy for his friend.
