The Lion King - 10/10, Hakuna Matata—enough said.

Superman (2025) - 8/10, basically the ultimate adoption story: baby gets rocketed from an exploding planet, adopted by two Kansas farmers, and somehow grows up polite, humble, and great at chores. That’s elite parenting.

Tarzan - 9/10, the only adoption story where the kid gets raised by gorillas… and honestly ends up more emotionally stable than most humans.
November 22, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Despicable Me - 7/10, supervillain accidentally becomes a dad to three kids, trades world domination for dance recitals, and realizes bedtime stories are more powerful than shrink rays.

Lilo and Stitch (2002) – 9/10, a great example of kinship care. Ohana means family.

Angels in the Outfield - 7/10, we love a classic and we know Miss Maggie was doing her best but we also know Roger and JP should have had more supervision.

The Blindside - 4/10, iykyk.

Meet the Robinsons - 8/10, great example of an older kid finding their forever family (but why was Mildred letting Wilbur keep Goob up all night like that??)
November 22, 2025 at 1:07 AM
The Fosters - 5/10, glad to see a show about a foster family in mainstream media but this family has some serious issues (iykyk).

Instant Family - 9/10, based on a true story, good representation of the training process and the ups and downs that can come with becoming a family.

From backyard football to college standouts to the NFL. An adoptive success story: Bo Nix and Tez Johnson.

QB Bo Nix and WR Tez Johnson light up the NFL every Sunday—but their story began long before football and is one rooted in adoption, resilience, and a family who said “yes.”
