Morning Womble. Trying to get into the spirit of the spooky season with The Child Thief by Brom.

Only just started it.

Finished The Butcher of the Forest by Premee Mohamed yesterday which was excellent.

Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. Another spooky book that I really enjoyed. Set within the film industry of 90s mexico it features a little bit of occultist magic and throws in some nazis for good measure.

The Justice of Kings by Richard Swan. This one I have read and can give you a strong recommendation on. Little bit spooky which goes well with the season. Great bit of fantasy with well drawn characters.

The Devils by Joe Abercrombie. Have to caveat that I haven't got round to reading this. It's had some middling reviews but people I follow have rated it highly and given Joes track record I'm sure this will be 99p well spent
