No judgement. Getting the news is important and we all take our stands in different ways.

Does this article talk about families? I’ve seen lots of parents with kids talking about their huge increases.

Darn. I canceled my NYT subscription. I’ll see if I can find the data elsewhere.

Where are you seeing this? I’m assuming by young you mean under 25 who are still on their parent’s insurance?

This is so true. When my husband’s cancer was found they said he had 6-8 months left if it hadn’t been found. If we didn’t have insurance, he would have died. People like him cannot wait a year for us to get them back their healthcare.

There is stopping them. There are people specifically designated to change peoples minds on really important issues like this. They are called the Whip. And their entire job is to keep people in line at the behest of the leader of their party.

Schumer either orchestrated this or can’t control his party. Either way, he is to blame for us not getting our healthcare subsidies.

This makes sense. I was confused when it was Kaine and not Warner who caved.

So very disappointed in @kaine.senate.gov. I have been a fervent supporter of his since he was our Governor. But no longer.

lol! I did ask him to try to talk to Kaine. Kaine’s number had no voicemail, but he will be getting a call on Monday. I feel sorry for his staffers.

There will be up to 65 million people kicked off of healthcare with these changes. There will be lots of people. And where are they supposed to line up?

Thank you for holding the line and being a man of your word. We can feed our neighbors, we can’t give them healthcare. Too bad you couldn’t get your fellow Dems to follow your example.

We can feed our neighbors. We can’t give them healthcare. My husband had 6-8 months to live when they found his cancer. I live in NoVA. I know tons of federal employees. All of them wanted them to hold out for healthcare subsidies.
