It’s not often that cover versions are better than the originals. These are absolutely first class. I don’t say that lightly. An exquisite exposition of a canon in its own right. Breathtaking. 🌹

I grew up with encyclopaedias. There’s real age prejudice there. It’s easier just to ask some helpful person to tell you.

I’ve only latterly moved here from twitter & layout differs.A simple thread was easier but here you can easily reply to a wrong person because threads break into subthreads in a way Twitter didn’t insist on doing.Through it could.This is about the fiftieth tinge I’ve sent a reply to the wrong person

Well I certainly wasn’t insulting you.I wasn’t (originally)even replying to you,so much as to the whole thread of people seemingly refusing to define terms I had never heard. It’s bad online etiquette IMO to just say “Google it” (I’m not saying you said that but some did).Easier to just define it!

I just hate it when it’s assumed we all know terms of an in crowd language. Of course I can look stuff up but for my generation Google never occurs,one just asks.
