...the joint normally. not sure why this has lasted 8 weeks & counting, but I guess it's believable. it's been slowly getting less bad.

it's still uncomfortable to move, but I can push through that discomfort knowing I'm not doing any structural damage at least.

no need for surgery either. phew.

okay so I got thrown for a HUGE fucking loop here

had my appt with ortho today, and they said nope, my meniscus is actually fine. it's apparently just a contusion located where I fell, which is on the medial side of my patella. there is no structural damage + no harm to be done in moving...

not doing too well atm.

finally got my MRI, over 7 weeks after my knee injury, and I finally know it's a torn meniscus.

I'll find out whether or not they suggest surgery this Tuesday, but given how it's still affecting my life a lot after nearly 8 weeks... I'm prepared for bad news.

I recently forced my friends to watch all of the Jurassic World movies and my professional opinion is that the t-rex and the raptor should be lesbians, thank you for your time #jurassicworld

the biggest question is whether or not this will force me to abandon school.

if I had, I don't think I could afford to go back.

I'd have to go back to work in accounting to survive.

I really would rather not waste more years of my life doing something I know I dislike.

thank you for saying this. life exists not because of competition/"survival of the fittest," but as part of a framework built on diversity and interdependency and coexistence.

the competitive mindset is a *subjective* value, not a "natural law." we can and should reject it, for everyone's sake.
