Yes! The Boxcar Children and the Bobbsey Twins were foundations for me.

That's a drag. For the variety of storms we get, we don't often lose power. And when we do, it's usually not this long.

We lucked out on the fridge because I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow anyway. But yeah, spending the whole day without power is a definite do not recommend.

A little over 13 hours later, and the power is finally back on.

I know. This is a small town. We're not built for such excitement.

Power has now been out a little over 8 hours. First it was a mechanical failure at a substation. Then something else broke when they fixed the first thing. Now they're saying it's a burnt up pole that they have to replace.

Also the Hardee's apparently caught fire.

We are having a day.

We're lucky to have a gas stove. At least we won't freeze.

Ha! I hope it erased more towards the flurries side for you. The wind has been whipping, but not sure about the outage. About half the town is out now.

I'm farther south than you, I think. The snow just started here, but I don't think it's supposed to accumulate much.
