Museum of the Moon, a huge installation by artist Luke Jerram was unveiled yesterday at St. Canice's Cathedral. As it happens there'll be a total eclipse of the moon visible (weather willing) in Kilkenny on Friday 14th, starting at 4am but best viewed at 6:30am.

After the stormy weather comes a welcome calm period as high pressure takes over. This chart shows the total forecast rainfall for the coming week in County Kilkenny. Not more than 1mm. I'll take that !

Certainly a wintry forecast this week with rain, frost and the strong chance now of high winds at the weekend.
