For someone who had no knowledge about them I loved the episode as much for the historical context and the mail order marketing story of how they grew their audience

Likewise Imran Khan, Kapil Dev, Ian Botham and Richard Hadlee led their bowling attacks the fact they all averaged over 30 with the bat is bonus, the search for this mythical figure who both averages 40+ with the bat and below 30 with the ball aint going to happen

Im not against the idea of an allrounder but they have to be either one of the best 6 bats or best 4 bowlers. Kallis and Sobers were both easily best 6 batsmen for their respective sides the fact they took over 200 test wickets is a bonus.

If they get away with this then its over, they can remove anyone and will do it openly and often with no consequence.

Great article but I want to give a shout out to the brilliant indigenous authors Melissa Lukashenko, Chelsea Watego and Amy Macquire who were all very quickly out of there.
