In the flat circle of time, my loved ones are still alive. My memories change little by little but it is possible to travel to the past and relive and even rewrite the way I experienced those events. It is something we can all do. 🫶

Anyway, this is Lysa (unless I change her name). She is now part of a new Romantasy idea, Project Moonphase. I have to work out the story some more. Style and rendering still up in the air 😁

Someone I know really well started this way. The algorithm and their own curiosity eventually sent them down the manosphere and MAGA path. It took a few years. Now they're rapidly changing in the span of a few months to more extremism. It's scary.

I came upon a reader who was upset that anybody likes mean characters, and that everybody ought to like the good guys because they're good. It was a question of morality for them, and they couldn't separate reality from entertainment. They were offended anyone considers good guy characters boring.

Yep. People flourish on being recognized and seen by others. They want to live on through their art. Encouragement comes in many forms and praise of their craft is one of them even if you say "they still suck though" in the same sentence.

I've definitely read less books than last year, but it mostly has to do with starting a self-paced school program and trying to get through it ASAP to save money. I'd feel guilty if I didn't. 😆

I read the graphic novel Animal Pound, which was heavily inspired by Animal Farm and feels like a sequel in a way. I recommend it it to anyone interested in Animal Farm and exploring graphic novels! It's still haunting me 1 week later. 🥲

My entire childhood I struggled with reading due to how I was brought up. It's been a long fight teaching myself how to like books, but it's been worth it. ☺️
