So “fun” fact. The 5th grade class I’m having so much trouble with? Their teacher is quitting and not coming back after winter break. I’m told that when they got the news from her some of them cried but most of them laughed. *sigh*

I’m trying to figure out if I can take half days on Mondays for the rest of the school year. I have a class that is so bad that I literally don’t want to see them again. I’m 100% sure they go to recess and figure out how they’re going to aggravate me each Monday. (1/?)

On a lighter note, we have the annual art teacher show at the Artists Guild Gallery tonight. I have two pieces hanging in the show!

Taking a mental health day today and it is amazing! I’m scared I’m getting burnt out again, only two and a half years back into teaching. I definitely have a DGAF attitude with some of my classes and they are running wild. I need to get it together or get out of teaching.

I’ve been in so much fibromyalgia pain recently. I don’t remember hurting this much ever. I’m afraid my meds have stopped working. They gave me a cortisone shot in my hips, and that helped a bit but my back is still killing me. ☹️

I haven’t really made much art in a while, other than cross stitching, BUT I did manage to pull a few prints off of the linoleum cut I finished cutting a few months ago! Enjoy!

I’m starting my weight loss journey with Wegovy this week. I’ve been dieting and exercising but my A1C is still in the pre-diabetic range. I’m hoping this works for me!

We’re getting dessert after the Ren Fair… and the cost added up to $71. I *knew* a $19 dessert flight, a cinnamon roll, and four bottled drinks shouldn’t have been that much. I even had her CHECK IT! She said “No, that’s right.”

My feet have been killing me. KILLING ME. For about a month now. My podiatrist can’t see me until the end of the month. 😭😭😭 I hate my body so much. It’s basically falling apart and I’m not even 40 yet.

I took the day off work today to go to an appointment. It feels SO GOOD not to have to deal with my worst class this week. I love my job most of the time, but damn, this class makes me so anxious and angry.
