Important anecdote in this story about a GOP town hall... I know folks may not think calling your member of Congress will make a difference, but many of them DO pay attention and it can shift what they say/ do.

Every Easter I remember the time when the St. Louis Post-Dispatch featured a photo of my sister and me for a section on “Easter Fashion”. It’s clear evidence I’ve been skeptical of… well… just about everything… my whole life.

Got a bit of a late start on my holiday decorating this year, but I stayed up late last night to finish my holiday “giving wreath” so neighbors, delivery folks, and contractors in the building can have a little treat as they pass by. Took me about two and a half hours to glue all the chocolates on 😅

I brought my new kitten, Artax, to the Marketplace DC Bureau today. He had a ball playing with the other producers and reporters in the office, but wore himself out by the end of the day.

But of course! Here is my new kitten, Artax. He's only six months old, but big because he's a Savannah.
Kimberly hold a gray and white striped kitten, Artax. The kitten is large, almost the size of a normal cat, and Kimberly is holding him up against her neck/ face in one arm while taking the pic with the other. Artax has oversized ears, green eyes, and a very pronounced snout. He's wearing a gray collar with a bell, and his very long front legs are splayed across the portion of Kimberly's upper body visible in the tight frame. Artax the savannah kitten is sleeping on a duvet with a colorful geometric pattern. He's sleeping on his side, so you can see he is a very long cat with big paws and very sharply angled hind legs. His fur is short and gray with black spots on his back and black stripes around his legs, face, and tail.
