Exactly! Voters in CA overwhelmingly approved the new map. Texas voters were not asked anything about redrawing congressional districts. Big difference

What's good for the goose is good for the gander! It appears as though the Texas gerrymander might backfire, as the newly redrawn districts there heavily favor Latinos, which are moving away from Republicans is droves! Ha!

I heard this provision allowing Senators to sue was left out of the bill because any changes to the bill would have to go back to the Seanate for a vote and the outcome there is unknown. It would also prolong the shutdown.
